10 Best Vegan Brunch Amsterdam

There is nothing like brunch with your friends on a sunny Saturday/Sunday morning. There are lots of amazing vegan brunch Amsterdam. After many years as a vegan, these are my favorite vegan stops by neighborhood across Amsterdam.

Best Vegan Brunch De Pijp Amsterdam:

De GroenteMeesters

The cozy vegetarian café is one of my favorite stops whenever I am in De Pijp. They have both vegan and vegetarian menus with delicious choices. I really like their smoothie bowls, which change regularly with a variety of fruits blended together into unique combinations. Their banana bread is also excellent, and they have freshly pressed juices as well. It is also close to Albert Cuyp Market if you want to stroll through the market after breakfast.

Factory Girl Restaurant

If you want a complete sit-down vegan brunch Amsterdam, the best choice in De Pijp is Factory Girl. The main courses are filling and healthy. My favorite is the magic mushroom or vegan breakfast scramble! They have a selection of vegan and gluten-free mouthwatering desserts, so save room for dessert!

Rainbowls Amsterdam

This healthy bowl restaurant is your perfect spot for Instagram-worthy smoothie bowls. The purple acai bowl is my favorite, but you can not go wrong with anything on their menu!

Best Vegan Brunch Amsterdam Central

Dignita

Definitely one of the best brunches in Amsterdam. They serve brunch all day and have a few locations across the city. They have plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. Brunch dishes are tasty and well prepared, and the service is friendly. The venue is lovely and worth coming to, regardless of the weather. On sunny days, sitting outside is a must to enjoy the cozy garden. They have three locations across Amsterdam in Vondelpark, Westerpark, and Holtuin.

Greenwoods

Greenwoods is a great choice in the center with a vegan menu. The food is excellent and they have great service especially for the center of the city. Even if it is busy, the service remains excellent and fast. Note: this restaurant serves meat. Their Singel location is next to Anne Frank if that on your Amsterdam Itinerary.

Lavinia Good Food

Lavinia is an adorable breakfast spot with great vegan and vegetarian options. The pumpkin toast is out of this world. If it is available on the menu, get it. Try their selection of vegan pies!

Best Vegan Brunch Amsterdam West, Jordaan, and Baarjes:

Dignita

The Dignita Westerpark location is my new favorite go-to. It is excellent for brunch with a friend, followed by a walk around the park or a visit to Fabrique des Lumieres (which is a great combination for Amsterdam with kids). They have a vegan Forest Dweller sandwich that is excellent and matcha fig pancakes that are amazing. Definitely recommend.

Soil

Soil is one of my favorite vegan restaurants in the city, and they just added a brunch on the weekends. The times are limited, with a very late start at noon, but if you are getting a late start to the day, the food is excellent and innovative. They have breakfast bowls, sandwiches, and warm bowls, which are all seasonal, so the menu rotates often. The restaurant is fully vegan for those sensitive.

Local Hero

Local Hero is a lovely, cozy neighborhood café. They have delicious pancakes, a friendly staff, and fantastic food overall. Try the vegan chocolate cake! It has a great local feel with few tourists as you are a little far from the touristy areas. Try the vegan toasti with their homemade barbeque sauce!

Moak Pancakes

If you are a pancake lover, Moak’s vegan pancakes are excellent. They have 3 locations across the Amsterdam, but the West location is the calmest, so it is easier to be seated. Try the Blue Magic Deluxe vegan for a pile of delicious pancakes, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and Canadian maple syrup.
